Three ways to work with us
Robots in development change every week, so the service is built for that. Start where your project is: each service stands on its own, and any of them can lead into the next.
Build-to-print prototyping
“I have a drawing. I need it built, and I need it next week.”
Start with a drawingA drawing, a pinout, a BOM or a clear spec. Quantity one is fine.
Samples built and tested to the agreed scope. Simple assemblies in about a week, and no commitment to a later run.
The package is checked for gaps and manufacturability before anything is cut: connector fit, wire gauge against current, bend radius against the routing you describe.
Materials are confirmed as exact part numbers. A substitution is proposed in writing, never made quietly, and your design is not altered on our side.
Samples are built to the confirmed drawing, tested to the agreed scope and photographed before they ship.
Prototyping stands on its own: there is no obligation to order a run afterwards, and a revision is quoted as the difference, not as a new project.
ODM, custom design and manufacturing
“I know what the joint has to do. I need help designing the cable.”
Start from a requirementFunctional requirements, the connectors at each end, the space inside the arm or chassis, or an early concept. No production drawing needed.
A manufacturable cable or harness design developed with our engineering partners: wire, screen, connectors, routing and bend radius. Prototyped, refined and built under your brand.
ODM stands for original design manufacturing: you bring the requirement, the cable or harness is designed and built with our engineering and manufacturing partners, and the product goes to market under your brand.
The design work covers wire and screen selection, connectors, pinout, routing through the arm or chassis, bend and torsion requirements and the assembly definition. Each revision is confirmed with you and carried into the drawing.
Engineering fees, the scope of revisions and the documents you receive are set out in writing before work starts.
The scope is the cable or harness. Enclosures, PCBs, firmware and control software stay with your team.
Prototype-to-mass production
“I need a partner from rev A through volume.”
Plan a production runA prototype to validate, or a released design you want produced.
A first article approved by you, then pilot and volume runs to the approved revision at our manufacturing partners in Shenzhen or Thailand, with every change carried forward. Repeat orders go straight to production.
Once you confirm the design, a first article is built and approved by you before any run starts. The work instruction and a golden sample are locked at that point.
Pilot builds and mass production run to the approved revision. A change is confirmed in writing with its cost and schedule impact, then carried into the drawing, the BOM and the next lot.
Production is placed with our manufacturing partner in Shenzhen or in Thailand, depending on your landed-cost and country-of-origin requirements, and said so in the quotation.
A repeat order is a purchase order against the approved revision. Nothing is re-engineered unless you ask for a change.
Have a drawing, or a requirement?
Send it. A person replies within hours, and you have a quote or a firm date by the next morning.
