Cables for the axes that twist rather than bend: the wrist of a six-axis arm, a rotating tool flange, a hollow joint in a cobot. Torsion is a different load from drag-chain bending and needs a different construction, which is confirmed against the motion you describe rather than assumed.

How it is usually built
- Torsion-rated cores laid up with a long lay length and a sliding separator, so the bundle twists without the cores working against each other
- Braid screen with a torsion-tolerant angle, or a foil-free construction where the application allows
- PUR jacket, abrasion and oil resistant, with a low-friction surface for dress pack hoses
- Cut to the routing length, terminated at both ends, labelled per axis
